Client Testimonials
There are many things I can say about the high quality of service I provide to my home seller and home buyer clients, but probably none would be as credible as testimonials from some of my recent clients themselves.
So please take a moment to read the following testimonials. I hope they indicate my experience and integrity, as well as make it clear how much I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs.
I would be happy to email you additional testimonials if you are interested.

"My husband and I chose Scott Pridemore from all other agents from his marketing material that he mailed to our home. We did not know Scott nor did we know of your company, beyond superficially. Scott’s material stood out among many others’ solicitations for business.
Scott listed our home and handled the buy side of our new home. Working with Scott was a true pleasure. He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, polite and prompt in response to phone calls, e-mails and questions. We felt that Scott was willing to work hard for us and always with such a positive attitude.
We recommended Scott to our dear elderly neighbors- we wanted to put them in caring and competent hands. Scott was just the man for the job. We will remain loyal to Scott for any future real estate needs.”

"My wife and I were looking into selling our home and buying a new home for our growing family in the height of the downturn. Through luck, we meet up with Scott and could not have been more pleased. He was able to get our old home sold in 9 days (and this was summer of 09 when it was a tough market). With our old home sold, the search for a new home was full steam ahead. Scott's knowledge of the many areas in Charlotte we were exploring was invaluable in our search and his connections with folks to help get the house we eventually chose to the home we have today made the entire process run much smoother then I would imagine it would have had he not been our agent. Not only was Scott very professional and helpful in primary aspects of our migration across the city, but we are happy to have Scott as a new friend as well. I would Highly recommend Scott to anyone needing an agent in the Charlotte area.”

"Scott was excellent at keeping us informed at every stage of the process, no matter the issue. He also went to bat for us during the inspection negotiations more so than any previous agent.
This was our 4th home purchase, and Scott was by far the best at all levels. He was the 1st agent we had that we felt truly represented our interest first and foremost. His communication at all stages was excellent, as was his availability. We highly recommend him."

" It is with great pleasure that I write this letter about how Scott Pridemore made finding, negotiating/bidding, and purchasing my first home such a pleasurable and care free experience.
I received many letters from various real estate brokers in Charlotte, but choosing Scott was no contest. His wife, Laura, had recently been through the Pediatric Residency Program at CMC, which meant that not only was Scott familiar with the different areas in which other residents were living, but he was also well aware of the insane hours that we have to face.
When I initially called Scott, I requested the impossible - a new, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Myers Park which would be affordable on a resident's salary. Instead of politely telling me I was crazy, a couple of days later, Scott had compiled a list of condos and took me around to show me what was available in my price range. Some of the places we saw came close to meeting most of my requirements, but one was absolutely perfect.
Considering I was completely new to purchasing real estate, having rented my whole life, Scott took the time to answer my questions, explain the details, and made the entire process simple and enjoyable. He was always very responsive, willing to go the extra steps and constantly showed his dedication to me as a client. For example, the day the bids for the condos were to be opened and the new owner's names announced, not only did Scott make sure we were the first people there, but he stayed with me throughout the whole 6+ hour day, until the final announcement was made and I indeed had gotten the condo I wanted.
Even after that, he continued to go to bat for me, from scheduling the walk-throughs to working around my crazy hours as a resident, to providing valuable information on the hot spots in the area, Scott never failed to add the additional personal touches. I would definitely and strongly recommend him and his real estate services to anyone moving to the Charlotte area."
Sincerely,

"Residency is an exciting time in our lives. It is filled with excitement and uncertainty. It is the time most of us buy our first home, which may be the biggest decision we have made up to this point in our lives. My wife and I had very little knowledge about real estate. Buying and selling homes was foreign soil for us. However, we were fortunate to find Scott Pridemore. He listened to our needs and wants, and he compiled a list of properties that we might want to see. He did not pressure us to see homes that did not fit our description. He pointed out flaws that certain properties had and reasons certain homes might be better than others. He was informative yet not overbearing. He introduced us to the city of Charlotte: places to eat, activities to do, and events to attend. When we found the home that we wanted, he really worked to get the price and conditions that we desired. He was a pleasure to work with, pleasant to spend time with and a friend from the first moment that we met him. Buying a home was a pleasant and rewarding experience with him and I would recommend him highly to anyone looking to buy a home."
Sincerely,

"Dear Vicky: (Owner of Dickens-Mitchener & Associates)
I am writing to commend you for hiring truly talented and dedicated real estate professionals. My wife, Jennifer, and I recently had the pleasure of working with Scott Pridemore in selling our townhome and in purchasing a new home in Mountainbrook. Scott provided an extraordinary level of service and demonstrated incredible effectiveness in all stages of the sales and purchase process.
For the past two years, Jennifer and I worked with three different real estate agents in an effort to sell our townhome. Each agent assured us that we would surely sell our property in "as is" condition and where subsequently offered a series of "explanations" when no offers were forthcoming. From our first interaction with Scott we knew we had hired someone who was not only truly interested in selling our property but fully capable of doing so. Scott brought in an interior designer within 24 hours of our initial meeting to help us rearrange the furniture and provide a more spacious feel in the home. He also provided us with a list of recommended changes to significantly improve the marketability of our property. None of the previous agents had taken the time to recommend changes let alone help orchestrate those changes.
Scott located a buyer in less than a month and negotiated an excellent sales price for our home. Once an offer was made, he contacted Jennifer and I several times prior to closing to keep us fully apprised of the status of the buyer's mortgage application and provided us with guidance to ensure a smooth closing. The closing was seamless.
As our buyer agent, Scott spent several hours talking with Jennifer and I to determine our needs and requirements for a new home. I do not mind telling you, we are picky people. we were prepared for an extensive "search" for our dream home and presented Scott with a very precise list of requirements. Despite these limiting factors, Scott quickly located several viable options and spent significant energy playing "devils advocate" to help us really evaluate each property. Most agents do not make a practice of pointing out the flaws of a particular property but we could tell Scott was more concerned in helping us arrive at a good decision than a hasty one. Once we found our home, Scott provided excellent advise regarding the offer price and expertly negotiated a purchase price to our significant benefit.
In closing, thank you again for demonstrating wisdom in hiring a Realtor of such high caliber. I hope you will continue to recognize Scott for his achievements - I suspect this is not the first letter you have received in praise of his efforts. Jennifer and I wish you and your associates continued success in your endeavors."
Kindest Regards,
Matthew Turner

"This was my first real estate purchase. Scott knew the area I wanted to live in and the price range and as tough as it was he found me exactly what I was looking for. Scott also helped me in finding good service in renovating my home. I would highly recommend Scott to family and friends. His knowledge and commitment to me was unsurpassed. To whom it may concern,
Very seldom does one receive such terrific service from an agency that you feel obligated to comment-But- that is definitely the case with the sale of my home through Dickens-Mitchener.
Mattie & I interviewed three different Realtors before deciding to list our house with Scott Pridemore of Dickens-Mitchener & Associates. From the moment we engaged Scott until the transactions were complete; he not only took care of all the legal details, but also helped us enormously in preparing the house for sale. Scott was always available and did his best to keep us calm and comfortable. We really felt that he was looking out for us at all times and went way beyond the call of duty.
You can bet that I will recommend Scott Pridemore, Realtor, to all our friends.
Sincerely,
John & Mattie Whitaker

Dear Scott,
As the owner of Dickens-Mitchener & Associates, I would like to thank you for your professionalism. Your growth over the years has been very determined and also unique in your attention to detail. As a seller's representative you always take care in pricing the home and preparing it to go to go on the market. I am especially impressed with all the individual means you utilize to attract buyers to your properties- from post cards announcing open houses, to realtor lunches, coffees and direct Realtor communication. Your sellers always benefit from your attention to detail.
Scott, your dedication to your buyers is also excellent. We are aware of this because all your homebuyers trust you with their friends and family members.
As you know, your customer survey letters are exceptional and always make me smile. Please know I am proud of your accomplishments.
Keep up the great work.
Fondly,

My wife and I just purchased a condo in Cotswold Homes for our daughter. We utilized the services of Scott Pridemore. We cannot say enough good things about the level of professionalism displayed by Scott. He is not only a valuable asset to your firm but he also represents the best in your profession. He is simply a good person and someone we are proud to call "friend".
Scott is dedicated to exceeding his customers needs and he does not rest until those needs are met. Our entire experience, from contract to closing, could not have gone more efficiently. We will highly recommend Scott to all our neighbors and friends for any real estate transactions they may be contemplating, either now or in the future. We have never felt this confident and comfortable in recommending a Realtor previously.
We also need to say a word about Scott's sister Jill. These two are obviously cut from the same cloth and together provide your firm with a real competitive advantage in today's marketplace. Our only hope is that all Dickens Mitchener agents are of comparable quality and that's a high level of expectation on our part.
Scott Pridemore is our candidate for agent of the year!
Thank you for your time and attention. We believe it's important to recognize superior performance when it presents itself.

Dear Ms. Mitchener,
Scott Pridemore is a superstar! As his manager, we are sure that statement comes as no surprise. Nevertheless, we felt compelled to remind you so that you can fully appreciate the invaluable asset Scott represents on your staff. During our recent house hunt, Scott provided us with unparalleled professional service that resulted in an overwhelmingly successful and satisfying result. What we found most impressive about Scott's efforts were his lawyerlike (we say that in a good way b/c one of us is an attorney) negotiation and advocacy skills. Equally important was Scott's knowledge of the home buying/selling process, which he used to our advantage. Finally, Scott's ability to respond timely to our requests and anticipate issues set him apart from the crowd. The client is number one with Scott and we felt that way from beginning to end. It is hard to believe that Scott is as nice a person as he is talented, but he truly is which made us feel welcome as we transitioned back down to Charlotte from DC.
Please take great care of Scott. It is because of him that we will recommend your firm and Scott in particular to folks we know in town who are in the market for a superstar (!) real estate agent.
Sincerely,
Cara and Tom Jordak

Scott,
Meg and I have always had great results when we have you on our side. When we had concerns listing our house after a new new baby, you assisted us on all our requests. When we needed suggestions for subcontractors to address inspection items, to up-fit our new house or moving companies that actually do great work - you had them at your fingertips. Your marketing brochures are top notch, your availability is exceptional and your professional opinion is invaluable. Ultimately what produced a Buyer for us was the additional time and expense you spent to produce postcard listings of our Wonderwood house.
Best of Luck and Continued Success.
Take Care,
Brian and Meg Flanagan

Dear Scott,
Thank you so much for all of your time and effort in helping us find the perfect home here in Charlotte. We couldn't have asked for a more outstanding person to introduce us to the city and the (many) neighborhoods we explored. We're also very grateful for all of the advice, contacts, excellent restaurant recommendations (and very generous gift card) you've given to us. Looking forward to meeting the rest of your family and seeing you at all of the upcoming CMC parties!
Sincerely,

Something you should know!
No, this is not about the most aggressive marketing campaign on how to sell houses. Just a short story about an amazing new life.
Before I begin, I want to say "thank you" for reading my story. It is so wonderful I wanted to share it, in the hope it will help others.
Like many senior citizens, I was not very eager for change. But, there were family and siblings who loved me and saw the need for change.
I was a seventy eight year old widow with a bad heart, bad lungs and several other ailments, living in a nice three bedroom 2 bath house with full basement, on a nice street in the 28209 area with a nice front and back yard. An almost perfect place to live, but it was beginning to get the best of me physically and financially. So, in order to keep everyone happy, I began packing boxes, giving away and throwing away forty five years of stuff. Some rooms were painted, carpet removed to reveal beautiful hardwood floors. Then there was the cleaning. Then the basement, half with large den area and half storage area. My wonderful son took care of the basement, working night and day. I realized this would be an easier job if we would keep things updated and do away with things not needed. I was so tired after several months of this, I was ready to move on, and it was August.
I had several friends who were Realtors, but I did not want to choose between them, so what to do? I always pray for guidance, so I prayed. In the mail I received a letter introducing me to Scott Pridemore. The letter stated that Scott had sold a house two blocks up the street, in two weeks for $2000 above asking price. The next day, on Thursday, I signed with Scott. On the following day, Friday, a sign was placed in the front yard and came down the next Thursday, six days later marked SOLD and receiving the original asking price. I was out of the house and in my wonderful two bedroom garden apartment on September 1st. I have been so busy decorating that I haven't even missed the house. Less cleaning more entertaining.
How and why all this happened is due to the expertise of my Realtor. On the Friday when the sign went up, Scott came with all the information needed regarding the sale of my house. He was at my home the next seven days. He asked me to tell him what I wanted and needed, and he listened. Then he told me what we needed to do and I listened. Being the perceptive gentleman that he is, he could tell that I was concerned about this being an ordeal that I had
heard of so many times. He told me not to worry, that he would take care of everything and that he wanted this to be a happy experience for me. We had many people in those few days. he would bring e-mails of feedback from clients and other Realtors. (They even commented on how nice I was, Scott had told me what to do and not do). There were many things to do and many people to see. Scott made all arrangements. He even contacted a lawyer and movers. He picked me up and took me to the closing.
The apartment is a lot easier to keep clean and less expensive than a big house with utility bills, taxes, insurance and repairs. I was happy with my home when I shared it with others, but there comes a time when there is a fixed income and sickness that it becomes too much.
Yes Scott, it was a "happy experience".
Millie Dennis

"It is hard to believe that I only spent seven days with Scott. he was very thoughtful and caring, while very professional, patient, informed and a perfectly committed Realtor."
